Cnc Operator
Job Description
The CNC operator routes all the components required to build exhibits and displays using a CNC machine. The candidate must be a reliable worker with a solid work ethic and can operate a CNC and related equipment precisely. The ideal candidate must be highly detail-oriented while still working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They should also display excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well as a team.
Key Responsibilities
Working with CAD, DXF, DWG files, and CNC programming software
Calculating dimensions to route-cutting sheets of different materials
Find efficiencies for dimensioning and cutting.
Assembly of components
Sharpening & ordering tooling and supplies for CNC work.
Keep the CNC running in perfect condition by doing the right weekly maintenance.
Assist in building exhibits and displays
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Ability to read blueprints
Experience using CNC Machines, one year minimum experience.
Open to train the right candidate
Excellent Computer Skills
CAD user is a plus
