What You\'ll Do
Under the direction of the Value Stream Leader and Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for repairing, installation, and preventative maintenance of CNC machines and other production equipment.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Responsible for mechanical and electronics repairs on industrial equipment, CNC milling and lathe machines, OKUMA, HAAS, Fanuc, Grinding, and Hone machines
  • Ability to work with ladder logic, troubleshoot various types of controls
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
  • Troubleshooting equipment failures and determine root cause of issues
  • Complete maintenance work orders
  • Knowledge of robotics technologies and computer applications working principles and operation manuals
  • Ability to perform all duties while complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other maintenance duties as needed
  • Working knowledge of tool probing function for CNC
  • Perform machine leveling and alignment
  • Support with scheduling PM, reading report, diagrams, and drawings
  • General facilities maintenance
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work
  • Work based on a sense of urgency with machines down conditions
Physical Requirements
  • Continuous standing; repetitive motion of hand/wrist.
  • Ability to lift 1-40 pounds.
  • Intermittent bending; crouching; repetitive motion of elbow/shoulder; pushing/pulling and lifting 15-40 pounds.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to typical manufacturing areas and will require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and in some areas hearing protection may be required.
  • The work environment may include their own workstation equipped with a computer as required for the job.
  • Team member must be mobile enough to navigate the manufacturing shop floor safely including walking and standing for up to four hours at a time.

  • Technical degree / certification or extensive experience
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience including CNC repair / automation repair experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electronics issues
  • Must have PLC troubleshooting skills and experience
  • Must have 480v and 3-phase experience
  • Must be familiar with hydraulics or pneumatics
  • Must be able to work with controls and read/understand programming language
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Blueprint reading
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
