CNC Machine Operator

Responsibilities:

Perform CNC Lathe and Milling machine set-ups for production part runs Load and adjust required tooling, jigs and fixtures Select appropriate part program Through CNC controls, load tooling and work offsets Machine first part for batch Operate and monitor CNC machines during production part runs Interpret engineering drawing to determine required dimensions and tolerances Perform quality inspections utilizing various precision measurement devices Make necessary tooling and machine adjustments to produce quality parts Perform basic machine maintenance and upkeep Suggest improvements for processes, methods, and design to improve productivity Troubleshoot machine errors and part variances Maintain a positive attitude and interact with the Team at all levels of organization Keep an organized and clean work area Work safely and efficiently

Required Skills:

Print reading skills and knowledge of dimensioning and tolerances. Working knowledge of CNC machines and program interpretation (G and M codes) Working knowledge of basic mathematics Demonstrated ability to operate CNC Lathes and Mills - Haas beneficial Attention to detail and quality required Ability to lift 50 + lbs. Ability to work 10+ hours per day on your feet

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

Experience operating CNC equipment beneficial

The Production Supervisor

Starting wage:

$25.57 per hour, depending on experience and skills

Schedule:

10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, overtime as needed on Fridays (8-hour day), start time is at 5am or 6am
