Shift hours:6:00am to 3:30pm*

CNC Machine Operator Position Overview:

Operate CNC Machine Operator and inspect finished parts.

CNC Machine Operator

Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):

Experience with lathe/mill turning machines or trade school CNC Machine Operator certificate. Experience using the Fanuc control preferred. Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills Etc.) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication skills and positive can-do attitude Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques. mechanically inclined

Mechanical aptitude:

A strong understanding of mechanical principles.

Attention to detail:

The ability to work with tight tolerances where precision is critical.

Technical knowledge:

The ability to read blueprints and specifications and basic knowledge of G-code programming or CAD/CAM software.

Problem-solving:

The ability to troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments.

Safety consciousness:

Adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols.

Teamwork:

The ability to work collaboratively with other team members

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection) Change tools. Make offsets. Load material and remove scrap. Fill out various paperwork. Simultaneous operation of multiple machines Minor troubleshooting Part inspection
