Sloan Lubrication Systems is a 4th generation family business. We design, manufacture, and install lubrication systems for multiple industries with a focus on natural gas compression, refining, and rotating machinery. Duties & Responsibilities

Load and operate CNC turning centers and/or machining centers under immediate supervision, with assistance from an experienced machinist.

Follow written and verbal procedures as assigned.

Read and interpret work order routings, prints, sketches, and tool sheets.

Inspect work using micrometer, bore gage, Vernier, calipers, or other precision measuring instruments.

Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, placing requisitions with supervisor and verifying receipt of supplies.

Prepare manufacturing documents, such as standard operating procedures, manufacturing batch records, inventory reports, quality forms, and productivity reports.

Monitor and adjust processes or equipment for quality and productivity; troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.

Contribute to team effort by completing jobs with a high level of quality, to specifications, and on time.

Follow guidelines for quality control; make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.

Maintain clean and safe working environment, adhering to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies; report any unsafe conditions to supervisor.

Make proper labor and time report entries.

Learn and use company systems (email, HR system and production software) as directed.

Job Knowledge and requirements

Basic knowledge of CNC programming using G&M code

Ability to perform basic edits and offsets.

Ability to read and interpret work related machine drawings.

Ability to make average mathematical calculations and resolve elementary technical problems.

Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, quality and safety minded.

Ability to read and interpret prints and work instructions, applying geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T).

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and stay organize

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, normally acquired through a high school diploma.

Computer literacy; ability to use email, internet and other Windows-based software and systems.

High school diploma or equivalent.
