Operate the CNC laser and downstream finishing/inspection/packaging as a single, safe, repeatable process. Set up programs, cut parts, deburr/sand, clean/dry, run 100% auto-inspection, complete OQC sampling, package/label, and post the NetSuite lot build so conforming product hits inventory on time.

Duties & Responsibilities
Material Handling and Cell Readiness
Move stainless steel sheet metal to the laser work cell and certify cutter cleanliness at start/shift change.
Properly locate and fasten the stainless-steel sheet in the laser bed; confirm fixtures/clamps and datums.

Laser Setup and Operation
Set up the CNC laser or restart at shift change; load and run the approved laser program.
Monitor cut quality; adjust within standard work; stop and escalate if outside limits.

Post-Cut Finishing
Transfer stainless steel sheets to the automatic sanding/deburring process to remove dross and sharp edges.
Separate spears from sheets; manage retained samples as specified.
Quality Checks (in Process CTQ, OQC)
On each stainless-steel sheet, perform Critical to Quality (CTQ) and visual checks, and keep four retained samples as required.
Transfer parts to the 100% automatic inspection station and verify results.
Perform Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) sampling for four parts per 2,000, using the approved form.

Cleaning and Drying
Run parts through ultrasonic cleaner; perform air blow-off/drying to standard

Packaging and Labeling
Determine final good count; package per work instructions; create/apply label to jar.

System/Records
Complete NetSuite assembly lot build; move parts to finished goods.
LOTO proficiency and strict adherence to safety procedures.
Follow standard work; stop for safety and out?of?spec conditions.
Read basic drawings; follow work instructions and CTQs.
Perform setups/changeovers, first?article inspections, and in?process control within defined limits.
Basic troubleshooting within defined limits; escalate promptly beyond limits.
Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem?solving skills.
Thorough attention to detail.
Maintain accurate records of parameters, CTQ/OQC checks, counts, traveler sign?offs, and production issues.
Use gauges/visual checks and complete basic ERP transactions (NetSuite experience is a plus).
Systematic approach to identifying root causes of defects or process inefficiencies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast?paced, shift?based environment.
Clear, effective communication with teammates, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering
Efficient handling of multiple tasks and priorities during a production shift.
Ability to pass a background screen.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1 + year in manufacturing or machine operation; CNC/laser experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of up to 12 hours working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
