Job Description
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, and operational adjustments Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Knowledge of material types, thicknesses, and grain direction preferred Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift Team-oriented, dependable, and able to meet daily production schedules
Job Duties:
Set up, operate, and adjust CNC laser cutting machines according to work instructions and customer specifications Load raw material sheets, unload finished parts, and manage scrap material Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency Inspect parts throughout production using appropriate measuring tools and documentation Perform basic machine maintenance, nozzle changes, and lens cleaning as required Follow all safety procedures related to laser operation, material handling, and shop equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
