Cnc Hot Wire Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a CNC hot wire foam operator with experience in CAD. In this role, you will create foam molds that serve as the forms for our cast stone products.

Key Responsibilities



Program and operate a CNC hot wire foam cutting machine to produce precise foam molds based on CAD designs Reference sketches and engineered drawings to visualize and fabricate foam tooling for molds Measure and inspect foam pieces to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment, following preventive maintenance routines Document production activities and communicate any irregularities or needs for repairs Adhere to safety and quality assurance processes at all times

Requirements



Proficiency with CAD software for creating and modifying mold designs. Experience operating CNC hot wire foam cutters, preferably in a manufacturing or mold-building environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Monday to Friday Typical start time: 9AM Typical end time: 5PM
