Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is seeking a CNA or Medical Assistant to join our new Clarkson Heart team, this role is located in Bellevue, NE. The CNA or Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing quality care within a collaborative environment, assisting in daily clinic operations, and performing additional tasks within scope of practice.
Shift Details:
Full Time | 1.0 FTE | 40 Scheduled Weekly Hours
Monday - Friday | 8AM - 4PM
No Weekend, Holiday, or Call Required

Support the nursing care of patients by performing duties according to standards and policies. Promote efficient operation of the clinic and provide assistance to physicians and support staff.
Required Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • 40-hour Medication Aide Registry course
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (BLS with skills assessment or approved BLS) upon completion of unit orientation required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
  • Passing score on DHHS state written and skills exams
  • Active on Medication Aid Registry listing or completed within first 12 months of hire or transfer date and maintained thereafter required.
  • Medication Aide Injectable Online + Lab Course completion
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
  • Knowledge of all patient care equipment and supplies, policy, procedure, and protocol manuals, audio-visual, video, and microscopic equipment, computers, telecommunication equipment, and wall/ceiling and tanked medical gases preferred.
  • For some clinical areas, the ability to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish may be preferred.
