Job Description

Community & Family Resources is an organization committed to providing comprehensive substance abuse and behavioral health services. We are currently seeking part-time CMA in Des Moines to work directly with adults within our residential and Outpatient treatment program.

As a Treatment Specialist at Community & Family Resources, you will be part of an organization with a strong sense of purpose and a team that strives to create a positive recovery experience for our patients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and document patient behavior, facilitate patient activities, and coordinate treatment with counseling staff

Complete admissions paperwork and conduct initial patient orientation

Update patient electronic records with status changes, progress notes, and reports

Schedule:

The schedule for this position is Part-Time- 2 days per week ( Tuesday and Wednesday) 8a-4:30p

Requirements:

Community & Family Resources values employees that have both personal and/or professional experiences with recovery. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and competent computer skills. Preferred candidates will have experience or continued education in a human services or related field.



An observed drug screen and TB test will be required upon hire for this position.
