Overview

The Clubhouse Director is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the clubhouse and will plan, lead, and evaluate, programing, ensuring high quality initiatives and outcomes are experienced by all.


Duties & Responsibilities:



Obtain and update all registrations, contracts, release forms, and emergency forms that pertain to administration programs at the site. Communicate, implement, and enforce organization's operational policies and procedures. Evaluate opportunities to improve operations. Ensure that programs, services, facilities and staff prepare youth for success. Ensure that program delivery results in desired outcomes. Analyze Club's membership levels and average daily attendance. Develop and implement strategies to increase membership in order to reach maximum capacity while still delivering effective programming. Develop performance objectives for direct reports as well as monitors performance and provides on-going feedback and reviews. Lead Club employees and volunteers in a comprehensive, coordinated and on-going effort to promote membership enrollment and program participation. Prepare youth for success and create a club environment that promotes achievement. Ensure a healthy and safe club environment, assuring that facilities, grounds, and equipment are well maintained and supplies are adequate and available. Ensure a healthy relationship is created with Club member parents including regular communication through conversation, print material, email, private meetings and parent meetings. Create a warm, welcoming environment for club parents. Develop collaborative partnerships with other youth-serving organizations, current members, parents, families, and community organizations. Serve as a fully participating member of the organizational team, cooperating with all staff to assure overall organizational effectiveness and maximum service impact on the youth we serve. Works closely with Department Directors to plan, develop, supervise, and implement the program activities at the site to ensure program quality outcomes are met. Maintain required program records such as attendance, daily schedules, meals and all rosters. Monitor and schedule all staff hours and schedules, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and appropriate budget management. Oversee safe and accessible transportation of all youth to and from the Site each day. Assist with the promotion of programs within the community.


Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, in youth development or similar, with a minimum of 18 credits in a field relating to education, child development, human services, or recreation. Minimum of two years' experience in the operation of a Boys & Girls Club (or similar organization) preferred. Demonstrate ability to effectively manage budgets and control expenses. Must demonstrate a positive attitude, initiative, strong leadership skills, and the ability to provide guidance to staff and volunteers with a variety of educational and experiential backgrounds. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required. Mandatory CPR, AED, and First Aid Certifications. Must have a valid driver's license and obtain/maintain a chauffer's license. Successfully pass all BCI requirements.
