Overview of Position:

Club Attendants are responsible for assisting members and their guests by providing equipment valet services, answering questions, addressing concerns, and creating a comfortable environment in Club areas. Attendants keep these work areas organized and clean so that equipment is readily available upon pick up and guests are able to navigate the locker room with ease.

Job Duties:

Responsible for greeting and dispensing information to all guests. This includes approaching guests, inquiring if they have any questions and being able to respond professionally. Maintain full, updated knowledge of prices, programs, scheduled events, weather conditions, and other resort knowledge pertaining to guest needs. Coordinate with Club Concierge to meet various guest needs. Assist with maintaining a neat lodge and grounds, including picking up litter and removing snow/ice from entry areas. Ensure that the cafe area tables and chairs are lined up correctly and kept clean. Turn on all TV screens and check all boot dryers. Spot clean and restock products in restrooms and locker room; contact Lodge Facilities if further attention is needed. Ensuring compliance with posted Club rules and guest policies. Maintain the efficient operation and control of the Equipment Valet Area. Accept guests' equipment, store properly, and give the guests the appropriate claim check. Report any missing or damaged equipment immediately to the Club Concierge. Replace claim check cards and other periodic maintenance items. Build relationships with members through interactions to continually improve personalized service. Efficiently communicate in a cheerful, knowledgeable and professional manner with guests. Identify and address potential hazards.

Job Qualifications:

Must have strong communication skills and able to interact with guests and team members in a friendly manner. Must be able to use a shovel for snow removal. Must be adaptable and willing to learn. Must have accurate mathematical skills and be able to count currency. Must be organized and able to recall details quickly and accurately. Must be able to work in stressful, noisy, and crowded situations. Must be able to sustain adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 30 lbs. repeatedly and 50 lbs. occasionally throughout the day. Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, including snow and ice covered surfaces. Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. * Ability to perform fine motor skills congruent with operating computers and smart phones.
