We're seeking a Cloud Solution Architecture - Security (CSA) with deep expertise across security architecture, E5 and Azure security workloads, including AI, Applications, Infrastructure, and Data, who is passionate about solving complex problems and helping enterprise customers accelerate their digital transformation. In this senior, customer-facing role, you'll lead strategic technical engagements, advise C-level executives, and partner with Customer Success Leaders to shape and execute security strategies that drive innovation and business value. You'll guide customers through architecture design, deployment, and operational excellence, helping them secure AI solutions, applications, and infrastructure on endpoints, Microsoft Azure and multi-cloud environments. Proactively acts as the voice of the customer/partner and internal communities leveraging relevant insights from feedback tools and systems. Identifies and/or translates customer/partner problems into industry solutions. Drives self and guides other team members to focus on customer/partner experience through efficient delivery and ensuring a seamless and connected customer experience. Proactively identifies, escalates, and mitigates blockers using appropriate tools. Delivers solutions in line with company methodologies, ensuring proven practices and patterns are followed. Proactively identifies new opportunities for Consumption, Usage & Unified expansion at scale. Operates according to required operational excellence and proven practice standards throughout all sales stages/activities/tools of record. Leverages market insights and demand signals. Contributes to leading virtual teams using knowledge of Microsoft architectures and their context in the competitive landscape. Responsibilities:

• You will drive positive Customer Satisfaction and become a trusted advisor as well as provide feedback and insights from customers/partners and be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft, Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.

• You will land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (i.e., Zero Trust) which spans the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings, and with focus on Threat Protection, ID + Access Management and Cloud Security.

• You will position and deliver solutions that drive Security product usage as you develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results & help Customers get value from their Microsoft investments and identify resolutions to Customer blockers by leveraging SA subject matter expertise. Deliver according to MS best practices & using repeatable IP. ?

• You will accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits "Secure by Design" framework, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.

• You will align your individual skilling to team/area demands & Customer Success goals as you accelerate customer outcomes and share your expertise, contribute to Intellectual Property (IP) creation & re-use to accelerate customer outcomes.

• You will run Architectural Design Sessions to build a plan for implementing the solution - governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production.

• You will collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders including FastTrack, partner, and Microsoft Consulting in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales, solution architecture or technical consulting experience

• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical pre-sales, solution architecture or technical consulting experience
• OR 5+ years technical pre-sales, solution architecture or technical consulting experience
• OR equivalent experience..
• 2+ years experience with developing and delivering customer demos/proof of concepts for Security across competitive offerings
• 4+ years of technical experience and/or knowledge in Identity or Data Protection including ANY of the following:

• Experience with Microsoft data protection (Purview), and/or identity and access solutions (Entra ID, Defender for Identity), or other identity protection technologies.
• Identity management systems, authentication methods, authorization models, data protection and understanding of how AI enhances identity and data security across cybersecurity practices.
• Proficiency in concepts such as Zero Trust, least privilege access, identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA) including data access and protection.
• Experience with major cloud and productivity platforms' identity solutions and associated concerns, including cloud workload identity protection and identity governance.
• Experienced in deploying data classification and managing secure storage solutions to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical assets.
• Familiar with compliance requirements--including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA--for safeguarding sensitive information.
• 4+ years of technical experience and/or knowledge in Cloud Security including ANY of the following:

• Design and implement Information Security, Privacy and Information Governance solutions leveraging Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Priva and Microsoft Purview offerings or other DIB industry-aligned Security and Governance platforms and/or solutions
• Implement solutions across the Security Development Lifecyle and integration security principles, patterns and practices into the DevOps lifecycle in an enterprise environment
• Working knowledge and application of Zero Trust Principles, Patterns and Practices, Security Threat Modeling and Mitigation, Security Posture Management and Device and Workload Protection in an enterprise environment
• Experience with Microsoft security solutions (M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel) or, one or more related technologies such as Prisma Cloud, Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, Splunk, etc.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting

• OR equivalent experience

• 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).

• 4+ years experience working on technical projects

• Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)

Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
