. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the closing process from start to finish, ensuring that all documents are accurately prepared, fees are calculated, and everything is in order for final settlement. You'll collaborate closely with clients, real estate professionals, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and timely closing experience.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with clients to ensure accurate and timely preparation of the Closing Disclosure (CD) and ALTA statements.
Review all documents affecting final settlement figures, including title commitments, real estate taxes, payoff demands, deeds, and other recordable documents.
Calculate required fees and prepare initial ALTA/CD statements and subsequent revision requests.
Review closing documents for accuracy and ensure they are sent for consummation.
Responsible for the final balancing of the wire transfer.
Efficiently manage and prioritize tasks in work queues to ensure timely closings.
Meet and exceed goals and closing capacity numbers as set by management.
Support the team in meeting client scorecard targets and maintaining strong client relationships.
Elevate complex or problematic files to management for resolution.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, completing mandatory compliance training by prescribed deadlines.
Maintain reliable attendance during scheduled hours and be available for overtime or in-office requirements as needed. Participate in company or industry events outside regular business hours as required.
Accept supervision, direction, and constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Work professionally with all levels of management, employees, and clients through email, phone, video conferences, and in-person meetings.
Demonstrate courtesy, flexibility, and a proactive attitude toward the needs and expectations of supervisors, co-workers, and customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high accuracy under pressure.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Capable of working independently, exercising sound judgment, and taking initiative when necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly.
