Hope is a clinical, educational, and therapeutic provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Illinois Crisis Prevention Network (ICPN) is the result of a collaborative relationship between Hope and Trinity Services, Inc. ICPN is designed to meet the behavioral and medical needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are experiencing significant behavioral and medical challenges. The ICPN consists of six statewide Support Service Teams who provide community-based support and consultation services to the person experiencing these challenges, as well as their family and or service providers.

The Illinois Crisis Prevention Network is seeking a Clinician for our location in Rockford, IL. The Clinician is responsible for individual and group support therapies, adaptive skills training programs, assessment, functional analysis, program design, data tracking and analysis, and ongoing monitoring of programs for individuals referred to ICPN.

Clinician Essential Duties:

  • Provide mental health and clinical reviews for individuals with dual diagnoses in need of mental health services.
  • Design programs for individuals centered on learning adaptive skills to utilize in community settings, including arranging skill training modules for use in the home with the mind of transferring teaching modules to existing family members or provider agency staff.
  • Complete functional analysis for individuals whenever a specific intervention program is appropriate and diagnostic database is necessary.
  • Design required data collection systems and provide analysis for necessary data.
  • Design and implement Personal Support Plans outlining a positive intervention.
  • Provide staff training and individual support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited university program in psychology, social work, or related human service field.
  • Possess and maintain full licensure (LCPC, LCSW).
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: Applied Behavior Analysis, Developmental Disabilities, or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Expertise in the application of adaptive skills training, including but not limited to social skills, communication, anger management, and validation.
  • Expertise in clinical therapy, with a main focus on cognitive behavioral therapy and/or dialectical behavior therapy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to interact effectively on a multidisciplinary team with community providers.
