Overview

The

Clinician Level I / Group Facilitator

is responsible for delivering structured group therapy and supporting daily clinical operations within our outpatient programs. This entry-level clinical role is ideal for individuals beginning their behavioral health career and seeking mentorship, training, and long-term advancement.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate psychoeducational, process, and skills-based groups using approved curricula. Support the development and implementation of individual service plans under supervision. Observe, document, and report client progress, participation, and clinical concerns. Assist with screening, orientation, and coordination of client services as assigned. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with program and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the Clinical Director and treatment team to support client goals. Demonstrate professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and trauma-informed practice. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred.

Experience

One year of full-time experience in behavioral health, recovery services, social services, or a related setting.

Licensure/Certification

None required at hire. Must be willing to pursue relevant credentialing such as

C-SAC

or comparable entry-level certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience facilitating groups in a behavioral health or recovery setting. Familiarity with substance use treatment models, 12-Step philosophy, and trauma-informed care. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse client populations. Basic documentation and computer skills.
