Clinical Therapist

Care First Rehabilitation, a Neuro-Rehabilitation Program that serves the catastrophically injured, is looking for an organized, self-motivated, confident individual to join our company. The ideal candidate will have attained at minimum a Master's Degree in Social Work, Practical Counseling, or Behavioral Analysis, with experience in clinical counseling and behavioral management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: psycho-social assessments, cognitive behavioral therapy, internal case management, and behavioral planning and analysis.

Responsibilities

Assess and create Behavioral Plans for clients with traumatic brain injuries Behavioral management: redirect and intervene on behavioral incidents Candidate must have advanced training and experience providing individual and group therapy using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based approaches. Provides brief, short term therapy for coping, compliance, relief and resolution of feelings that exacerbate the patient's medical condition, treatment and rate of recovery. Identifies and resolves problems of high-risks clients in emergency situations. Focuses on the day to day operations of the Neuro-Cognitive Day Program, and staff behavioral management training. Provide administrative support to the Rehabilitation Director & Program Director Works very close to a Rehabilitation Team - including DPT, OT, SLP, RN and treating Physicians.

Requirements

Must be fully licensed MSW, LPC, or BCBA in the State of Michigan. Must possess a Master's degree in Behavioral Science (Social Work, Practical Counseling, Behavioral Analysis, or Psychology) Ability to develop the Behavioral Management Plan of Care Ability to develop the Conflict Resolution Plan of Care Must have training in behavior management, CPI certified is Preferred Experience in Psychotherapy with highly behavioral individuals Minimum three years of Traumatic Brain Injury experience Minimum three years of working with highly behavioral clients: physical and verbal aggression

Qualifications

Masters Degree and Fully Licensed: MSW, LPC, BCBA, Psychologist Psycho-Therapy: Individual / group counseling CPI certified

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
