Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their challenges. This role involves providing therapeutic support to clients, utilizing various evidence-based practices, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Duties

Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Perform intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention and management for clients in acute distress or emergencies. Engage in child and family counseling, addressing issues related to development, behavior management, and emotional well-being. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment plans that address the holistic needs of clients. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Offer specialized support for clients dealing with PTSD, addiction, grief, chronic pain, and developmental disabilities. Facilitate telehealth sessions as needed to provide accessible care options. Being open to seeing children is highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (CSW or LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPCC), or equivalent Experience working with children and families in various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, or schools is highly desirable. Familiarity with behavioral health principles, medical terminology, patient assessment techniques, and case management practices. Knowledge of special populations such as geriatrics or individuals with autism is a plus. Proficiency in art therapy or dance therapy methods is beneficial but not required. Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
