What You'll Do

Answer incoming patient calls and triage within your scope of practice Schedule appointments and relay test results as directed by providers Process prescription refills and update charts with test results Participate in proactive patient outreach calls Assist the floor staff with call backs on patient inquiries Provide friendly, compassionate communication over the phone Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Cross-train to provide support on the clinic floor as needed

What We're Looking For

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional and empathetic approach with patients and coworkers Flexibility and a positive attitude in a busy environment Ability to type efficiently, multitask, and prioritize daily tasks Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical clinic Proficiency in medications, diagnoses, lab tests, and treatments

Education & Licensure

High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in Medical Assisting

OR

current LPN license required Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred Nebraska Medication Aide certification required (we can help you obtain this if needed)

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
