We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Clinical Supervisor. This is a working supervisory role, ideal for a clinically skilled and team-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for both direct patient care and day-to-day operational oversight of the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

Participate in

direct patient care

, including: + Triage of pediatric patients + Assisting with rooming and vital signs
+ Performing clinical procedures within scope of practice
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to medical assistants and nursing staff Ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate care is delivered to all patients

Administrative & Supervisory Duties:

Collaborate with Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of the clinical team, ensuring adequate staffing and workflow efficiency Collaborate with Practice Manager to support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff Monitor compliance with safety and infection control standards Collaborate with practice leadership to improve processes and patient experience Collaborate with Practice Manager to assist with scheduling, timecard approvals, and performance evaluations Collaborate with Practice Manager to facilitate team communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution

Schedule:

Full-time: 40 hours/week

Choice of schedule: +

Four 10-hour days

(e.g., Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday) +

Five 8-hour days

(Monday-Friday)


Summary:

The Supervisor - Clinical RN role is responsible for supervising assigned staff within the assigned work areas(s).


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)



Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred. License/Certifications: Current State of Maine Nursing License or eligible for licensure to practice in Maine. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Experience: Two years of RN experience required. Experience in area of specialty may be required. Supervisory experience preferred.
