We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive nursing experience and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in managing clinical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. As the Nursing Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while fostering a collaborative environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Staff Management
Directly supervises clinical support staff, including medical assistants and other non-provider personnel.
Partners with the COO to ensure effective clinical operations across all practice locations.
Executes full-scope supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and employment laws: staff selection, training, workload management, performance evaluation, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
Oversees clinical staff scheduling, staffing assignments, and workload distribution to ensure adequate provider support.
Reviews and approves clinical staff timekeeping, monitors overtime utilization and break compliance.
Oversees and approves vacation requests and time-off planning to maintain operational coverage.
Clinical Operations Oversight
Ensures appropriate inventory management and timely ordering of clinical supplies.
Maintains emergency equipment such as crash cart, defibrillator, and emergency medication kits, ensuring readiness and regulatory compliance.
Performs clinical tasks as needed, including injections and all duties within the Medical Assistant role.
Quality, Compliance & Safety
Assists the organization's Safety Officer; leads safety initiatives and ensures compliance with OSHA standards.
Assist with development and coordination of OSHA and safety training programs.
Identifies equipment failures or facility concerns and collaborates with leadership to resolve operational issues.
Ensures adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards impacting clinical care delivery.
Clinical Systems & Process Improvement
Along with Clinical Informatics, acts as a clinical subject matter expert for EMR workflows and provides first-line support for staff questions and issues.
Collaborates with leadership to develop and optimize standard operating procedures, workflows, and patient education materials.
Works with cross-functional teams to introduce new processes and ensure smooth interdepartmental operations.
Continuously assesses clinical operations for opportunities to enhance efficiency, patient safety, and satisfaction.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Current Oregon licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in an outpatient or acute care setting; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
EPIC experience a plus.
Skills & Competencies
Strong clinical assessment and triage capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop clinical staff.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in EMR use, clinical workflows, and healthcare documentation standards.
