Job Description


Responsibilities

Collaborate with Department Directors, physicians, and clinical staff to manage, assess and enhance the provision of mental health assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents and families in a manner that promotes continuous quality improvement, customer service, programmatic growth and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Children\xe2\x80\x99s Hospital. Develop, implement, and monitor staffing plans, scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements. Partner with departmental and hospital leadership to develop, integrate and expand Psychiatry Consultation and Emergency Department Mental Health programs throughout the hospital and the region.#LI-SK1

Requirements

Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Nursing. A Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Nursing may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in another field.
- Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience and an additional two (2) years of other relevant experience as determined by Seattle Children\'s.

Required Credentials:
- Current Washington State RN License.
- BLS for healthcare providers.
- A copy of Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of Bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon hire.
- Safety Care certification (internal training) required within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter.

Preferred:
- Two or more years experience in psychiatric nursing.
- Master\'s degree in Nursing or a Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Experience with multi-system involved children with severe behavioral problems and/or developmental disabilities
- Experience with the King County MHP and Washington State Mental Health WACs
- Management experience in health care setting.
- Experience in Emergency Department settings

Min to Max Hourly Salary

$57.46 - $86.18 /hr

Min to Max Annual Salary

$119,516.80 - $179,254.40 /yr

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children\xe2\x80\x99s offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
