Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. We work hard to support the patients and families in our community while supporting each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

In this Leadership role:
  • You will have the clinical competence to serve as resource to the staff and be self-directed with the ability to lead others.
  • You will support the staff and work as a change agent, supporting system wide nursing initiatives.
  • You will collaborate with preceptors and new employees, and facilitate new employees in becoming part of the team.
  • You will assess the need for and assist in the creation and implementation of staff development programs to enhance professional growth of personnel.
  • You will facilitate ongoing performance improvement activities which correlate to the Hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program with involvement of all levels of staff on designated shifts as appropriate.
  • You will make assignments for the present or following shift to provide for smooth transition, ensuring appropriate assignments throughout shift to cover changing patient needs and staff availability due to absences, breaks, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Current Utah nursing license in good standing
  • Requires a minimum of two (2) years RN experience.
  • Leadership and management experience is highly desirable.
  • Associate\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in nursing required, BSN preferred
  • Basic Rhythm interpretation class required within six months of hire.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
