We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in a clinic setting. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories.
EPIC electronic medical record experience required
Referral experience and medication prior authorization knowledge preferred
Requirements
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant/LPN or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology .
Familiarity with Nephrology is desirable
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating empathy and compassion towards patients.
