Job Description

A busy, well-established family practice medical clinic in Augusta is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant/Nurse.

Primary Duties include but are not limited to

:

Provide overall support for physicians, mid-level practitioners, and fellow nurses Obtain vital signs and chief complaints from patients Prepare exam rooms for patients Sterilize equipment Prepare procedure trays for physicians Assist with scheduling patients and phone triage Call out prescriptions Schedule appointments Coordinate referrals and schedule appointments with specialists on behalf of patients Perform phlebotomy Assure proper handling of all specimens Perform X-rays Perform EKG Administer injections

Qualifications

1 year experience required 1 year Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience required
