Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager (RN) to join our Family Birthing Center in North Conway. This is a full time salaried position. Schedule is primarily Monday-Friday, daytime hours; Potential for some weekend and/or night clinical shifts as needed. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN who is passionate for labor & delivery and is seeking a leadership role. This position leads the hospital\'s labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum unit, working with a close-knit team that is dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care!

Position Summary:

  • The Clinical Manager is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations in the Family Birthing Center, located at Memorial Hospital in North Conway, NH.
  • This is a dynamic clinical leadership role that promotes and participates in the coordination of high quality patient care. This position collaborates with clinical leaders throughout Memorial Hospital, and labor & delivery leaders within MaineHealth.
  • The Clinical Manager has the responsibility and accountability for the oversight of staff during orientation, education, achieving staff competencies consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the nursing department and hospital administration.
  • Identifies and prioritizes educational needs of the department while upholding excellence in nursing with the use of evidenced-based practice.
  • Creates a positive environment that encourages staff to participate in the identification of areas with opportunities for improvement in patient care, and all related processes.
  • Provides support to staff development and assists staff in developing critical thinking skills, prioritizing, and customer service skills while providing safe and effective care.
  • Demonstrates integral involvement in QAPI and participates in hospital committees, advancing both professional nursing practice.
  • Emulates MaineHealth values of patient-centered, respect, integrity, excellence, ownership, and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current NH Registered Nursing License or a Multi-State Compact RN license. RNC-OB certification preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
  • Experience: Two years of clinical leadership experience, and at least five years of LDRP or related nursing experience preferred.
  • Desired leadership competencies include leading change in a complex environment, demonstrating trust and respect, team work and collaboration across the organization, effective decision-making skills, managing performance & engagement, and appropriately managing resources.
