Clinical Liaison

for our skilled nursing facility in Urbandale, IA

The

Clinical Liaison

is responsible for generating business through qualified leads for assigned locations. Coordinate external activities that position the company as the leader in services and provider of choice in the market. Must have a strong skilled nursing background to apply.

Rate: Salary starts at $65K and and goes up depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Clinical assessment of electronic medical charts from hospitals is done to determine if a facility can meet clinical needs. Verification of benefits Obtain pre-authorization from insurance company Communicate clinical information to the facility Ensure closure with each referral. Initiation of leads through relationships with qualified sources and contact with patients and families Identify referral opportunities through market intelligence and territory management data Develop and implement special events and presentations to assist in maximizing fair market share Collaborate with appropriate center employees and/or Call Center to determine new sources for leads

Qualifications:

RN/LPN/LSW or 1 / 2+ years' experience in the nursing home industry in one of the following roles: Central Admissions, Director of Admissions, Clinical Liaison, Director of Marketing, and/or Social Services Experience in healthcare-related lead generation preferred Experience in post-acute or acute organizations preferred Ability to travel extensively
