We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Lead Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health and substance use disorder counseling and demonstrate proficiency in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities. The Clinical Therapist will provide high-quality care through individual and group therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and comprehensive patient assessments.
Duties
Lead 20 hours of group therapy weekly (10 total group sessions)
Manage 2 individual therapists with their schedules, treatment plans, and chart reviews
Review / Conduct intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapy using techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, motivational interviewing, etc.
Implement crisis management strategies to support clients in acute distress or emergencies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
Assist the case manager with clinical guidance as needed to coordinate care across various service providers.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Valid licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), or equivalent certification is preferred.
Experience working with adults and families is highly desirable.
Familiarity with behavioral health practices including multiple therapeutic modalities.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with medical records management is essential.
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Commitment to ongoing professional development through training in crisis intervention techniques and other relevant areas of mental health care.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
