Four Corners Surgery Center is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team and oversee the daily operations of the operating room ensuring safety, quality patient care, and efficiency. We strive to provide quality outpatient care to the Four Corners Region while promoting a fun and inviting work environment.

The OR Manager will provide leadership and supervision to a team of nurses, technicians, and other personnel while promoting multidisciplinary teamwork and effective communication. The manager will also serve as the patient advocate to oversee the care and needs of the patient.

Performs and oversees circulating functions before surgery, including preparing the operating environment, orienting and assessing the patient. Performs and oversees circulating functions during surgery, including monitoring and communicating patient condition, documenting interventions and activities, monitoring the sterile field and controlling traffic into, out of, and around the room. Provides nursing care to surgical patients in a complex environment. Multidisciplinary collaboration and communication. Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

License: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license

Certification: BLS Certification required or within 2 weeks of hire date. ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained upon hire.

Experience: Previous operating room circulator and management experience preferred but will train the right candidate.

Hours:

Monday-Friday position. 8 hour shift. No major holidays.

No Weekends or Call
