Job Description

We are seeking a full-time

Clinical Informatics System Analyst, RN

to help design, optimize, and support clinical information systems that improve patient care and workflow efficiency. In this role, you will partner closely with clinical staff, IT, and leadership to develop, enhance, and support EMR applications, workflows, and documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance. You'll lead system enhancements, training, testing, and go-live support, serve as a key liaison between nursing and IT, and provide hands-on support to end users. The position also maintains RN clinical competency and may provide direct patient care as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



Develop, maintain, and optimize EMR systems, workflows, and clinical documentation Lead system design, testing, training, and go-live support for new functionality Provide onsite and remote end-user support and troubleshooting Train providers, nurses, and new hires on EMR functionality and upgrades Collaborate with clinical, IT, billing, and leadership teams to improve efficiency, compliance, and reimbursement Analyze system performance and recommend improvements Maintain RN skills and provide patient care as needed


Full-time, Monday - Fridays with occasional nights and weekends as needed.


This is a primarily

remote position

with occasional on-site presence required for meetings, trainings, and other business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS



Graduate of an accredited RN program required. Bachelor's degree in healthcare, nursing, or business management preferred Active RN license in the State of South Dakota, or ability to obtain upon hire Two or more years of hospital or clinical nursing experience preferred Familiarity with EMR/clinical applications and healthcare technology preferred Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage multiple projects effectively High level of technical aptitude with strong computer skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
BLS certification required, or ability to obtain upon hire
