About the Opportunity



We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and licensed

Clinical Executive Director

to oversee operations and clinical care across our Detox, Residential, and Outpatient programs. This is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring that all levels of care are delivered with excellence, compliance, and compassion.

As the Clinical Executive Director, you will play a key role in advancing our mission of providing individualized, evidence-based treatment for substance use and mental health disorders in a therapeutic environment built on dignity, integrity, and compassion.

Key Responsibilities



Provide executive leadership and oversight of Detox, Residential, and Outpatient clinical programs. Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams including therapists, counselors, nurses, and support staff. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards (DPH, Joint Commission, and other state/federal requirements). Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies, procedures, and quality-improvement initiatives. Monitor census, client outcomes, and staff performance to ensure program effectiveness and operational stability. Partner with leadership to align clinical strategy with organizational goals and growth plans. Maintain a visible presence across all facilities to support staff, model accountability, and promote a healthy, recovery-oriented culture. Facilitate team collaboration between clinical, medical, and operations departments for cohesive care delivery. Represent the organization in community partnerships, accreditation processes, and audits.

Qualifications



Active state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment setting. Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams in Detox, Residential, and/or Outpatient programs. Strong understanding of clinical best practices, evidence-based treatment modalities, and behavioral-health compliance. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment while balancing compassion with accountability.
