Job Description

Objective



Hubbard North, located in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Clinical Director to join our leadership team. The Clinical Director reports directly to the Program Director and serves as a key member of the Leadership Team. This individual is responsible for overseeing all certified staff--including special education teachers, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), occupational therapists (OTs), physical therapists (PTs), and board-certified behavior analysts (BCBAs)--ensuring high-quality service delivery, compliance with IEPs, and alignment between clinical and academic programming.

Responsibilities



Clinical Oversight and Compliance

Oversee the implementation and documentation of all IEP goals, ensuring alignment with state and federal special education requirements. Monitor the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of service delivery by all certified staff, including progress monitoring, data collection, and service logs. Serve as the primary liaison for compliance audits, PPT preparation, and related service coordination with districts and external agencies.
Staff Supervision and Support

Conduct formal observations, lesson plan reviews, and feedback cycles for special education teachers, providing coaching and targeted professional development. Provide supervision, coordination, and consultation to all certified staff, promoting consistency and collaboration across disciplines. Collaborate with the Head of School to ensure staffing models, caseloads, and service schedules meet student needs and contractual obligations.
Family and Stakeholder Collaboration

Participate in PPT meetings, family conferences, and multidisciplinary discussions to ensure strong communication and alignment of student goals. Support certified staff in preparing for and participating effectively in PPT meetings and parent communication.
Professional Development and Leadership

Design and facilitate professional development sessions related to compliance, IEP fidelity, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Serve as a key member of the Leadership Team, contributing to school-wide planning, strategic initiatives, and state-of-the-school updates.

Required Qualifications



Master's degree in Education or related field Minimum of five years of experience in special education, school leadership, or clinical coordination roles. Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring processes. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications



Connecticut Intermediate Administrator or Supervisor Certification (092)

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
