Position Overview



We are seeking an experienced and compassionate

Director of Counseling

to lead our

counseling department

and ensure the highest standards of clinical care.
This leadership role focuses on

developing robust, payor-ready ASAM documentation

, guiding

individual and group therapy

, and

mentoring a skilled team of counselors

and

Certified Recovery Support Specialists

.

Key Responsibilities



Lead, supervise, and inspire

the counseling team, ensuring effective delivery of group and individual therapy. Oversee

clinical documentation

to ensure timely, payor-proof ASAM assessments and treatment plans. Collaborate with the

Certified Recovery Support Team

to integrate lived experience into the continuum of care. Drive clinical quality, compliance, and program innovation. Conduct staff evaluations and promote ongoing professional development. Facilitate case reviews, supervision, and ensure clinical documentation meets regulatory and payer standards. Evaluate and enhance program effectiveness through data-driven improvements.

Qualifications



Master's or Bachelor's in

Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Chemical Dependency

. Minimum

3 years of experience

working with substance use populations. Current

CADC

or equivalent clinical licensure required. Proven leadership experience in addiction counseling and program development. Strong

clinical assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention

skills. Deep understanding of

ASAM criteria

and evidence-based treatment practices. Exceptional

communication, documentation, and team-building

abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
