Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Director to lead our healthcare facility's clinical operations. The ideal candidate will oversee medical management, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and foster a high-quality patient care environment. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong management skills and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations, including JCAHO accreditation standards. The Clinical Director will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence and advancing our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Duties



Provide leadership and oversight of all clinical services, ensuring adherence to medical management protocols and healthcare best practices. Develop, implement, and monitor policies that align with JCAHO standards to maintain accreditation and improve patient safety. Collaborate with medical staff, administrative teams, and external partners to optimize clinical workflows and service delivery. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including quality assurance and risk management protocols. Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Manage staffing, training, and professional development programs for clinical personnel to promote a high-performance team environment. Oversee clinical documentation, reporting, and data analysis to support continuous improvement efforts. Act as a liaison between medical staff and executive leadership to communicate clinical priorities and operational updates.

Qualifications



Proven experience in healthcare management or medical management within a clinical setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including JCAHO accreditation standards. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to develop strategic plans and execute them efficiently. Relevant medical degree (MD or DO) preferred; however, candidates with extensive healthcare management experience will also be considered. Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of compliance, safety, and continuous improvement. Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders. Oversees clinical staff and initiatives to ensure delivery of services and appropriate timely
reporting.
? Oversees the clinical development and practice standards across all disciplines consistent with
the organization's mission, and communicates the philosophy and strategies to executive,
management, clinical and direct support staff.
? Ensures internal staff's compliance and awareness of the company's core values.
? Provides individual and group supervision of clinical staff.
? Oversees clinical admission, including admission assessment and preliminary treatment
plan.
? Intervenes as needed, clinically with clients in situations such as Crisis debriefing,
crisis intervention, AMA risk, and special needs.
? On-call 24/7 for clinical emergencies and consultations.
? Oversees the timely completion of psychosocial assessments, clinical admission notes, and
master treatment plans for new admissions.
? Provides group therapy and covers caseload for dual-diagnosis clients.
? Provides psychological services as needed and is responsible for the provision of appropriate
services for dual-diagnosis clients.
? Facilitates weekly treatment planning meetings, group clinical supervision meetings,
and counselor/program staff meetings.
? Facilitates and develops lines of communication to ensure efficient
interdepartmental communication.
? Reviews client records for quality of treatment documentation and planning.
? Reviews staff communication and shift logs for treatment implications.
? In partnership with the Administrator or designee, develops, coordinates, and maintains
clinical program policies and procedures and modifies as necessary overall program
parameters.
? Participates in quality assurance and utilization review activities as directed by the
Executive Team.
? Informs Executive Team of issues relating to staff issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
