Job Summary: Clinical Business Administrator is responsible for managing the business and operational functions of clinical departments. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care by supporting clinical leadership with financial oversight, strategic planning, compliance management, and operational efficiency.
Education & Experience
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in healthcare operations, practice management, or business administration including two (2) years of leadership experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledgeable in healthcare administration, financial management, and regulatory compliance, with a strong understanding of clinical operations and patient care processes. Skilled in budgeting, data analysis, revenue cycle management, and process improvement to support efficient, high-quality healthcare delivery. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to manage teams, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Adept at using EHR systems and business software to enhance decision-making and organizational performance.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate communication between clinical and administrative teams to streamline workflows.
  • Support implementation of clinical programs, quality improvement initiatives, and patient satisfaction goals.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Analyze financial reports to track performance, identify trends, and recommend adjustments.
  • Oversee billing, reimbursement, and revenue cycle processes in compliance with payer and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership to develop business plans and growth strategies.
  • Prepare and present operational and financial reports to senior management.
  • Use data analytics to support decision-making, improve efficiency, and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, safety regulations, and accreditation standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, OSHA, Joint Commission).
