Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical terminology, experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and taking patient vitals. Prior clinic experience, especially in internal medicine or an urgent care setting is preferred, but not requites. The Clinical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinical operations and delivering exceptional patient service.

Duties

Assist healthcare providers with patient intake (rooming), such as collecting medical histories and documenting chief complaints Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Manage documentation within EHR systems accurately and efficiently Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient service

Requirements

Prior experience in a clinical setting professionally or academically Knowledge of medical terminology Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions Strong patient service skills with compassionate communication abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience with intake procedures, vital signs collection Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
