Indiana University Southeast, one of eight campuses of Indiana University, is seeking dynamic and innovative educators to fill a faculty position in the School of Nursing. We invite applications for Clinical Assistant Professor for which an earned MSN and ability to be licensed as a registered nurse in Indiana are required. This is a full-time, on-site position with clinical, classroom, and/or simulation laboratory teaching requirements.
Preferred candidates will also possess a record of collegiality, innovation and creative teaching initiatives in time of change and growth. Experience and expertise in critical care nursing, medical-surgical nursing, and RN-BSN teaching are preferred. Salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience. Required Qualifications:
A master's degree in nursing
In all cases 18 graduate credit hours in nursing is required
Evidence of eligibility for licensure in Indiana
Minimum of 3 years of practice as a registered nurse (RN).
Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and student success
Demonstrated ability to work in a professional and collaborative team environment
Experience as a nursing educator, as well as certification as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) considered a plus. Classroom, simulation laboratory, and clinical teaching experience strongly preferred.
