Summary:

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently recruiting for a Clinical Applications Supervisor to join our IT team! This position will work full-time 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, this is an IN-PERSON role.

Job Duties

Strategic Leadership and Management:

Lead the clinical applications team with a strategic vision to support healthcare operations. Drive project planning, budget management, and cross-departmental collaboration to enhance application effectiveness and user satisfaction.

System Implementation and Optimization:

Spearhead the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Epic EHR system. Manage comprehensive assessments, system updates, and ensure optimal functionality across all user levels.

Advanced Technical Expertise:

Oversee the development and maintenance of system templates and databases using SQL and Crystal Reports. Ensure robust data integrity and security through meticulous administration and regular audits.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary liaison between IT and clinical staff, facilitating effective communication and training to maximize system utilization and workflow efficiency.

Innovation and Research:

Continuously research and integrate the latest technologies and methodologies to advance the functionality and efficiency of clinical applications, aiming for groundbreaking improvements in patient care and data management.

Team Management:

`performs all facets of hiring, performance management, and evaluations. Duties include but are not limited to interviewing, selecting, training, evaluating performance, holding regular team meetings and one-on-ones, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Utilizing your manager and HR for support as needed.

Vendor

Management:

support the continued development and maintenance of relationships with key IT vendors.


Experience and Skills:

Skills and Abilities:



Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with an ability to work well within ever changing priorities and situations. Proven experience as an EPIC Analyst or similar role with a focus on healthcare systems. Certification in relevant EPIC modules such as Cadence, Resolute Hospital Billing, and others are a requirement for this role. The analyst is expected to maintain certification in key areas. Strong understanding of healthcare operations, particularly in patient access and revenue cycle processes. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, complex healthcare environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of clinical and administrative professionals.

Education:



Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, Preferred. Clinical and technical training experience is highly desired.

Experience:



1-2 years' clinical experience.

Salary Range:



Hiring range is $87,000 - $109,000 / annually; depending on experience
