Home Health Administrative Assistant

to help ensure smooth daily operations and excellent service to our patients and staff.

Position Summary



The Home Health Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting office operations, coordinating communication between patients and clinical staff, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with home health regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities



Manage returned documents and ensure accurate follow-up and completion Upload clinical and administrative documents into the patient chart/EMR Pull, prepare, and track QAPI reports for internal quality review Create, assemble, and maintain staff training binders Support onboarding processes and maintain clear communication with field staff Process continuation of care requests in coordination with clinical teams Assist with general administrative tasks as needed to support daily operations Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards at all times

Qualifications



High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred 1-2 years of administrative or healthcare office experience (home health experience a plus) Strong communication and customer service skills Proficiency with computers and EMR/EHR systems Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently Knowledge of home health regulations, medical terminology, or scheduling preferred High level of professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
