Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinic Nurse Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing essential support to medical staff and patients within a clinical setting, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse patient populations, including those requiring specialized care such as geriatrics, memory care, or behavioral health. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation is essential to maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Duties

Assist healthcare professionals in clinical procedures, including vital signs, medication administration, and catheter care Prepare examination rooms and ensure sterile techniques are maintained in accordance with aseptic protocols Support patient care activities such as mobility assistance using Hoyer lifts and monitoring patient safety Document patient information accurately using EMR/EHR systems. Collect specimens for lab testing, including phlebotomy when applicable (will train) Assist with patient education and provide support during outpatient or inpatient visits Maintain medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality Support infection control procedures and adhere to safety protocols in high-acuity environments such as ICU or trauma centers Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings such as hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, or home care environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
