As part of a dedicated and skilled team, the Climber with Crane Trimming Experience will play a vital role in performing technical tree work, including pruning, trimming, and complex removals. Responsibilities

Perform technical tree pruning, trimming, and removals using advanced climbing techniques, including Single Rope Technique (SRT). Work from aerial lifts or climb trees using proper climbing systems to access work areas safely. Collaborate with crane operators on crane-assisted removals, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Set up and manage advanced rigging systems for controlled lowering and lifting of tree sections. Follow all company and industry safety protocols, including ANSI A300 standards, and conduct pre-climb assessments. Operate and work around professional-grade equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and bucket trucks. Communicate effectively with ground crew and other team members to complete jobs safely and efficiently. Assist with site setup, traffic control, and post-job cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Experience in professional tree climbing and pruning. Proficiency in setting up and using rigging systems. Experience working with or operating aerial lifts, bucket trucks, and chippers. Familiarity with crane-assisted tree removals. Knowledge of arboricultural best practices, including ANSI A300 standards. Physical strength and stamina, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform demanding outdoor work. Valid drivers license (preferred). Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong commitment to safety.
