PART TIME POSITION INFO:
Part time hours for this position are Monday and Thursday (7:40 AM-6 PM; 1-2 hr lunch break), Friday (7:40 AM-1 PM), and rotating Saturdays (typically two out of three Saturdays worked on a rotating schedule, 7:40 AM to ~noon)

Total ~22-26 hrs/week (average 25 hrs/wk)
. Additional hours can be obtained by filling in for other receptionists when they are on PTO, & the schedule is subject to change. Please note that unscheduled absences (calling in/off of work) result in accumulation of points that result in negative consequences, including possible reduction in pay and possible termination - employees are valued & we need our employees to be committed to their coworkers & the functionality of our clinic. You are important! Make sure this schedule works for you!
Receptionists should be friendly, engaging, empathetic, knowledgeable about pet medicine, punctual, have a strong work ethic, be excellent at working as part of a team, and be very good at multitasking! Must be able to lift 40#, help restrain animals, and be aware that pets can carry zoonotic diseases (an inherent risk with veterinary medicine).

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area and clinic.
Collaborate with veterinary staff to support animal care and treatment.
Train newer co-workers as needed.
