About the Role:

The Client Services & Insurance Operations Associate will play a vital role in supporting the financial advisor and ensuring a seamless client experience. This position requires a well-organized individual with strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a keen interest in learning about Northwestern Mutual and our processes. Key Responsibilities:

Act as a first point of contact for clients, managing phone and email communications with professionalism and clarity Perform accurate financial calculations and data entry (e.g., bank drafts, transaction processing, reporting support) Manage time-sensitive tasks and completing priorities in a high-volume environment Maintain detailed client records and ensure compliance with industry regulations Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., office manager, advisor, corporate office) to support seamless client service Troubleshoot client issues and provide timely updates and resolutions in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, especially in working with financial data. Excellent verbal communication and client-facing skills, particularly over the phone and email, with a professional demeanor. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to work independently and use resources to problem solve. Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and other financial software/tools (CRM knowledge is a plus). Prior experience in the insurance industry, financial services, banking, wealth management, or related field preferred. Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Accounting, or related field a plus
