Job Overview

We are seeking a competent, organized and dedicated Veterinary Client Service Representative to work on Monday's, Thursday's and some Saturday's. An ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greeting clients and their pets warmly and professionally upon arrival. Checking in/checking out clients and accurately updating patient information and records. Answer incoming phone calls, emails and text messages. Manage appointment scheduling and record management. Maintaining cleanliness and an organized front desk area. Handling client inquiries and concerns. Processing payments and handling invoices. Sending appointment reminders and follow-up calls. Maintaining accurate client and patient records. Demonstrate strong computer literacy and proficiency in practice management software. Processing prescription requests accurately and efficiently. Send and receive records, lab work and radiographs for referrals and insurance purposes.

Requirements

Proven experience in a receptionist or front desk role is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Strong customer service orientation. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
