We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to be the face of our practice. The preferred candidate is punctual, reliable, and has schedule flexibility.

You'll welcome visitors, clients, and their pets to our brand new facility, answer phone calls, emails, and texts, schedule appointments, check clients out and take payments, leave messages for our DVM and Technician staff, complete daily office tasks, and do what it takes to serve our patients and clients in a busy environment.

The ideal candidate is a great communicator with a strong work ethic who is interested in a meaningful role with a supportive team that has a variety of personalities.

Duties



Take all incoming phone calls and respond to emails and texts to ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information Welcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building, and give them any pertinent information or directions Assist with additional administrative tasks such as data entry, copying, downloading and linking files, and client communication by phone, email, text platform, etc. Communicate clearly with co-workers in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment Adapt quickly to change Express compassion and a willingness to serve and assist clients, fellow employees, and the pets we care for, even during their rough times Go above and beyond to make anxious clients comfortable

Qualifications



Must have graduated from high school, received a G.E.D., or equivalent Has previous experience with word processing programs and basic Windows computer skills Pay attention to details while under pressure, yet remain calm and composed Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills Well-versed in taking telephone calls and remaining calm in stressful situations 1+ year of fast-paced receptionist experience or veterinary practice job experience preferred, but not required Have the ability to manage multiple digital communication platforms Self-motivated to do daily tasks and keep yourself busy. A can-do, helpful attitude is a must! Physically able to carry 40 pounds Willingness to be helpful to everyone, both clients and fellow employees, even when they are under stress

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 - 38 per week
