Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Homecare Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling homecare services for our clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care while maintaining accurate records.


Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule homecare services for clients, including nursing, therapy, and personal care Maintain accurate records of client schedules, ensuring that all appointments and visits are properly documented Communicate with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that their care plans are followed Monitor caregiver availability and assign appropriate caregivers to client cases Collaborate with other departments, including nursing and billing, to ensure that client needs are met and services are properly billed Provide support to caregivers and clients as needed, and address any concerns or issues that arise Maintain confidentiality of all client information and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling or a related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to use a computer and telephone for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
