Company Overview: Old Port Advisors is an independent registered investment advisory firm that provides personalized financial planning and investment management services to individuals, families, and businesses. Summary: Old Port Advisors is actively seeking a full-time Client Relationship Administrator to join our growing firm. This position will provide client service and operational support for our wealth management team. This is an ideal position for someone with 3-5 years of relevant financial services work experience. The candidate will work cohesively with multiple wealth advisors. Responsibilities will range from administrative tasks to direct involvement with client communication and their planning needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be an integral member of the Old Port Advisors wealth management team by assisting with all aspects related to client service.
  • Perform account related administrative tasks, such as account opening, processing transfers and general maintenance.
  • Work with other professionals to coordinate client estate, trust and tax planning needs.
  • Interact with clients to answer account related questions, gather information, and/or process fund transfers and trade requests, etc.
  • Maintain detailed and organized client files.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Take on or assist with ad hoc projects.
  • Adhere to client confidentiality
Job Requirements Skills & Qualifications
  • Possess a strong work ethic with a sense of urgency for timely, accurate transaction processing
  • Demonstrate strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong organizational skills including ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented, innovative, and analytical thinker
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and willingness to learn internal portfolio management software
  • Driven, team-player
Education:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree (Preferred)
  • Series 66 preferred, or willingness to obtain.
Experience:
  • Financial services: 3-5 years (Preferred)
