Role Overview


As a Client Development Manager at Applica, you will be responsible for leading our new client development operations in the US. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through consistent engagement with new clients, developing and managing client relationships, and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of recruitment services. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, possess strong organization and leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of the energy market, as well as a proven track record in client development and account management.


Responsibilities


Client Development:

Generate leads through various channels Turn leads into business opportunities Identify and map out potential projects and opportunities Network extensively to open new doors and foster good relationships Use the sales cycle, with particular emphasis on discovery to identify Client challenges and needs Help design fit for purpose solutions to meet the identified needs and challenges Manage the sales process Identify and manage opportunities to increase business with existing clients Secure contracts and MSA's with new clients Focus on contract client opportunities, with direct hire as a secondary Devise marketing strategies to promote Applica, and attract new clients
Account Management:

Set up and manage all new client accounts to the point a dedicated account manager is appointed Ensure a thorough handover is provided to account managers Work with Account Managers to grow headcount on existing accounts by identifying and capitalising on opportunities Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients Map out client structures and identify current and future opportunities Work with Account Managers to open new departments or divisions within client businesses Gain introductions to EPCs, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

Recruitment:

For new clients acquired, recruit the first two positions before handing over future roles to the resourcing team Source candidates for time-critical positions and provide support when needed

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in Client Development in the recruitment or staffing industry Strong knowledge of the energy market and industry trends Excellent networking and relationship-building skills Ability to identify and convert business opportunities Strong account management and client relationship skills Experience in recruitment and contractor management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong presentation skills Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets
