The Animal Hospital of Orleans, Cape Cod's only Fear Free Certified Practice, is seeking a full-time

Client Care Specialist

to join our dedicated team. For over 25 years, we have proudly provided compassionate, high-quality veterinary care focused on reducing fear, stress, and anxiety for our patients and clients.

The Client Care Specialist (CCS) plays a vital role as the first and last point of contact for our clients, ensuring every interaction reflects warmth, professionalism, and care. The CCS provides exceptional client service by managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, admitting and discharging patients, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm, courteous, and empathetic.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting clients and assisting with check-in/check-out procedures Managing incoming calls and scheduling appointments Providing accurate information about hospital services and fees Processing payments and maintaining financial records Handling client inquiries with compassion and professionalism Maintaining a clean and organized reception area and hospital environment Supporting Fear Free principles to ensure a positive experience for pets and clients

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and customer service skills Friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure Reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented mindset Veterinary or customer service experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)

Hospital hours of operation:

Monday, Thursday, Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 AM-6:00 PM (7:00 PM during summer hours)

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
