DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 2, you provide clerical and office support to SCI, Mercer. You are responsible for filing, typing a variety of documents, and inputting data for various departments within the institution. You also operate office equipment and maintain computer databases and records.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week.
  • Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $32,978 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
